MCP Grows Up
Welcome to Amaze Networks for Thursday, April second. The MCP Dev Summit opened this morning in New York City, and we have astronauts orbiting the Moon for the first time in fifty-three years. Let's get into it.
It's a good Thursday.
Okay so let's start with something that actually happened overnight. The MCP Dev Summit — that's the first ever developer conference for the Model Context Protocol — kicked off today at the Lincoln Center in New York, hosted by the Agentic AI Foundation under the Linux Foundation umbrella. Ninety-five sessions, all the major names. And the two sessions I want to talk about are an Anthropic SDK talk called "Path to Version Two for MCP SDKs" and an OpenAI keynote titled, and I love this, "MCP x MCP."
New episodes, every weekday.
Amaze Networks drops at 4 AM CT, Monday through Friday. Spotify and Apple Podcasts submissions in progress.
