Llama Opens the Floor
Welcome to Amaze Networks for Wednesday, April eighth. I'm your host, and today we've got Meta dropping the biggest open-source AI release of the year, Ethernet making a serious play to dethrone InfiniBand in AI clusters, and a quantum physics finding that might be pumping the brakes on some of the more aggressive "RSA is dead" predictions.
Plus we've got some really interesting adoption numbers on SONiC that suggest the open networking tipping point is either here or very close. It's a dense one today.
Let's start with the big one. Meta released Llama four Scout and Llama four Maverick over the weekend, and I want to make sure we give this the time it deserves because there's a lot going on architecturally here.
New episodes, every weekday.
Amaze Networks drops at 4 AM CT, Monday through Friday. Spotify and Apple Podcasts submissions in progress.
